The desert is so mysterious. So quiet and calm. Just like standing at the top of the Burj Khalifa, it really does make you feel insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
We were picked up from our hotel by the Arabian Adventures trained safari guides in the 4×4’s to head out for an afternoon filled with dune drives, camel rides, belly dancing and a traditional Arabian feast to follow. The tour is only 375 dirham (approx AUD$140)
For more info regarding tours in Dubai go to Arabian Adventures I did was called there ‘Sundowner’ – Highly Recommend.
Not only can you ride a camel out here via Arabian Adventures but you can watch them race. I didn’t know Camel racing was a thing until I visited Dubai
*Fun Fact about Camels- They can run at speeds up to 65 km/h in short sprints and they can maintain a speed of 40 km/h for an hour!
